When choosing the right hinge, consider the type of cabinet you have. For face frame cabinets, the hinges will overlay 3/4" of the frame, while for frameless cabinets, they will overlay 3/4" of the side panel. It is important to select hinges that fit the side thickness of your cabinet, so be sure to measure the distance the door panel overlaps the cabinet face. For example, if the thickness of the cabinet side panel is 3/4", then you should choose the corresponding 3/4" hinge.
